“The features of our face are hardly more than gestures which force of habit made permanent. Nature, like the destruction of Pompeii, like the metamorphosis of a nymph into a tree, has arrested us in an accustomed movement.”

(Marcel Proust, Remembrance of Things Past, vol. 4)

– Malin Ellisdotter Hellesø, was very kind to propose a new assignment in her blog, Order in Chaos, I am there, and many, many more. You can see the wonderful results in https://malinhphotography.wordpress.com/2015/07/02/the-assignment-order-in-chaos-your-images/

  1. You remind me this poem, sometimes words, images orients us off topic, but the main thing that make us think
“[…]to say or to vouchsafe at least the beginnings of something vital (she hides
minor discoveries at the back of her head)

she is particularly keen on the eyes and the faces the smile of comprehension
    in something similar someone similar

… her inconversations she sits with both her hands on the edge of the table
seems to be asleep today she has only bought one bunch of dill”

    Have a good weekend Kari.

    • Thank you so much, Andy!
…I just follow a long traditional of painters and photographs that did self-portrait, or self-representation – I think the “selfie” is maybe a different thing, a different context, a new vogue that maybe will pass… I think you understand what I am trying to say… (…smiling for you…)
