A woman speaks… camera scripta, camera picta… a room…
“Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death.”
(Anäis Nin, Diaries)
Thank you so much, Jayde!!
Beautiful… as always.
In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility. (Eleanor Roosevelt)
Thank you, Malin!! …so, so true, wonderful quote!!
How to speak, if not in words absorbs life….
Your images … beautiful
light , clear – playing light and of shadows
This led me to think(smiling)
I think… what mean “be oneself” ?
Maybe, to who we are is a configuration: nature or especially strong experience. Which can not reject, because we remember…
Can we must stay in the midst of the beauty, for create beauty?
Is creating is as an expression of power, and perhaps still weaknesses?
Since we always have the need to pretend That we are someone else, why?
As children, we want the adulthood. When we achieve this state, we dream to become beautiful, rich, important, perhaps hence the desire for Theatricality of life … For some reason, constantly hiding his true “I”.
Where is place, where I be myself?
Sometimes, we feel in these roles of strange and uncomfortable.
can we want masks, because we have the feeling of the lack of self-confidence.
When we trying to pull off wearing a mask, we see glances of others people, others disapproval . We begin have even questioned, have we Whether really right. Because the crowd is consistent in correcting us.
Create and change can be only when I can “be oneself”.
Thank you very much Kari!!!
sorry for the mistakes
My dear Agnieszka
Thank you so much for your beautiful and intense comment – and again I can feel the little volcano inside of you, but I don´t have answers for all your questions, I maybe have even more questions, after yours. It is a journey, life and art, and in the end you will only find yourself!! – there, pure and alone!! and you just keep going…
yes, you’re right, I have to stop this burst (smile)
I’m really gentle person, but inside I must fighting.
These questions were a little rhetorical.
I ask myself for a long time…
Thank you for your patience (with a smile)
I think all the misfits out there are asking the same questions, and there is no problem!!… and I have nothing against volcano’s!! (…smiling a lot…)
In your images, I see inevitable shadows, of all shapes, sure, but mostly, beauty.
But I’m not 100% sure of the quote this time; standing still is not always a kind of death. Not to everyone anyway. Some people are able to do it, and to me, they doesn’t seem more or less dead than those in unending turns of the wheel.
So, to spin or not to spin?
I’m all around myself, but sometimes I really dream of electing a state. Finding the good state is another case though!
Benoît, thank you so much for your comment, and for that wonderful light that you bring…
…and you have say it all “to spin or not to spin?” – that is the question!! (…smiling a lot…)
Love the light and shadow in these images-lovely work Kari!
It is what life is made of – light and shadow!! Thank you so much, Meg!!
